Experience
Hello! I am a soon-to-be second year student at University of Toronto. Back in high school I was chosen to be one of the helpers in English corner. The sessions focus on improving English skills, oral in particular of the participants. I absolutely loved working with the students. Some of them were outgoing and others were really shy. They had different personalities but were there for one goal which was to improve their English. I have a great sense of humor and am very down to earth. I would find chances to make friends with my students, making them feel relaxed and communicate more when we were learning instead of having them feel all nervous and scared to talk. However, I am a huge fan of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude because in that way we can actually teach kids while letting them be kids. Now I still want to be a tutor because I'd like to make more friends and i love kids. I am the only child in my family and the oldest among my cousins. I'm friends with everyone of them and whenever they find themselves in dilemma they always ask me for advice. I love working with kids and more importantly being friends with them.
