Jennifer C.

Private tutor in Toronto, Canada

Education

Trent University - Bachelor of Science (Honours); biochemistry and molecular biology (2013) University of Toronto - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) (2018)

Experience

I have been tutoring various subjects, such as general and organic chemistry, for about 6 years. I love one-on-one tutoring, it is a very satisfying way to be able to help someone, and see them progress and that it gives me the opportunity to really tailor my approach to the particular student. I have also tutored groups (such as MCAT tutoring for premed society) and have worked as a teaching assistant (for general, physical and organic chemistry and biochemistry). I took the PCAT in 2013 (chemistry 98th percentile, composite 95th percentile)

Hobbies

Most of my spare time tends to be spent on movies, tv shows and reading. In particular, I like sci/fi and fantasy in any medium, horror movies no matter how tacky, and science or nature documentaries (especially astronomy). I also enjoy playing videos games (nintendo 64, wii, xbox) but havent had as much time for that since I started pharmacy school. I was brought up loving food and embrace that through cooking and baking and testing out restaurants around the city with a group of friends.
