Nick Z.
Private tutor in Toronto, Canada
Education
I graduated from Brebeuf College School and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Medieval Studies at St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto.
Experience
I have over 150 hours of high school volunteering at my local public library along with an additional 40 hours in different events. As such, I know how to help students pursue their educational potential. I am also fluent in English and Russian and serve as President of the Medieval Studies Undergraduate Society at the University of Toronto. I previously served as society secretary and treasurer. I am comfortable tutoring a variety of K-12 subjects including every level of reading and writing, English, and middle school science. Whether your student needs help with grammar, using active reading strategies such as highlighting to retain more of what they read, or converting their thoughts into an essay format, I am ready and willing to provide the support they need.

Hobbies
My hobbies are quite diverse. I am currently the President of Medieval Studies Undergraduate Society. I enjoy fencing, archery, flat-water canoe, golf, and painting miniature historical figures of Napoleonic Wars and Wars of The Roses. On my spare time I either find myself in libraries, museums, partaking in sports, or partaking in my hobbies if not exploring the city with friends! Fun Fact! I got 4th place in short distance race and 7th in long distance race in national junior Belarus championship in flat-water canoe. I am 20 years old and have been living in Canada for almost 9 years.
