Anton is an experienced and hardworking tutor. He is former Candidate master in chess. He also has a degree in economics/mathematics and Ph.D in economics/finance.
Experience
I am an experienced hardworking chess instructor. I love chess, I love teaching chess, I love to organize tournaments and I love helping students to prepare for tournaments. I provide in-classroom lessons as well as private in-house sessions. One of my students was Jason Qian (11 years old) who won several trophies in New York tournaments for juniors. I have been playing chess over 45 Years. I was a winner of numerous tournaments and became Candidate master at the age of 13. In April 2011 my rating was about 2100. I play some tournaments although I do not play professionally. I would like to share my chess experience with beginner, intermediate and advanced level players. From 2009-2014 I was a supervisor of University of Bridgeport chessclub. Responsibilities included controlling the club budget, organizing tournaments, supervising participation in local and national tournaments, organizing lectures and other activities. My other chess experience includes part-time work in ChessNMath Toronto and NYC chess- largest chess organization in New York and New Jersey Library in Carteret (lessons and tournaments organization). Besides chess- I have large expewreince of wqorking and teaching in academia/universities.
