Education
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Dalhousie University where I majored in Spanish. I have also obtained a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary with a specialization in Elementary General and Second Language Acquisition, as well as a K to 12 Certification.
Experience
I am an OCT certified teacher with 3 years of experience teaching IB Middle School Spanish, for phases 1 to 5, to students in grades 8 to 10. In addition to this, I also have extensive tutoring experience, both as a self-employed tutor and working through a company. Over and above this, I am also certified to teach Spanish at the high school level in Ontario. I have a wealth of experience teaching and working with students of all ages, levels of study, and learning abilities. I have also previously worked as a piano teacher (RCM Grade 9) for more than 10 years.
