I attended UBC, where I graduated in 2016 with a Master's in Policy Studies. I also hold a Bachelor's in English Literature, Journalism, and Communications from a top ten university in China. I was an exchange student at the University of Hong Kong with a GPA of 3.7.
Experience
The majority of my tutoring experience has been teaching languages to students from fifth grade all the way to adults. I have worked as a home tutor for written and spoken English at the elementary and high school levels. I have also tutored in spoken English for adults and taught written and spoken Cantonese to English speakers. My work experience includes preparing text and audio learning materials for major Cantonese learning sites. In addition to Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and English, I can also work with students to help them develop their study and organizational skills.
