I am the current undergraduate student of University of Toronto (downtown campus), double majoring in Cinema studies and East Asian studies. For Cinema studies, the main job is studying film's history and style, analyzing film and writing some research papers. And for East Asian studies, it mainly focus on three countries-- Korea, China and Japan.
Experience
I have lots of foreign friends who are interested in Mandarin and taking Mandarin class in U of T. I taught them Chinese grammar and characters frequently and all of them got really good grade in exam. Now we can communicate with Mandarin fluently. I found that it was a really meaningful work and wanted to help more people.
