I am a recent graduate from McMaster University. I graduated with Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a minor in Economics. As an undergraduate, my area of focus was Accounting.
Experience
I believe that every student has their own method of studying based on their personality and ability. I can experiment with different approaches until I find the one that brings the greatest impact, whether they prefer visual learning materials or tactile. For instance, I offer Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese tutoring. Language immersion is an excellent and efficient way for students to rapidly gain fluency. Whether they need to go over the right Chinese characters to use when composing a written sentence or they're struggling to quickly respond in the language, we can work together to correct the problem. I strive to keep students engaged and motivated as they work through the concepts they find challenging. By engaging with my students, I can cut down on procrastination while helping them to retain the information.
