Tutoring Subjects: USMLE Step 2 CK , Step 3, and MCCQE1. Having successfully completed MCCQE I in 2020, this grants me familiarity with the new exam style and MCC evolution that placed greater emphasis on health promotion, illness prevention, and psychosocial factors as well as proper communication. Other tests completed: NAC OSCE, MCCEE as well as US exams including USMLE step 1, step 2 CK, step 2 CS, and step 3. ECFMG- certified. Delivery of lessons: Online
Experience
Since the time I was in medical school, I have always enjoyed teaching. Upon graduation, I started my internship and was actively involved in sharing my knowledge with medical students/recent grads in hospital wards. Later on, when I finished the United States Medical Licensing exam (USMLE) and MCC exams, I had the chance of tutoring them to students both in-person and online. When presenting my lessons for both USMLE CK and MCCQE1, I do realize that CK and QE1 have significant similarities, however, the QE1 has its unique nature of questions especially when it comes to the CDM part, which is a difference I do take into consideration when tutoring. In addition, I have been tutoring various clinical subjects as well as their basic principles such as those related to anatomy and physiology. Again, with the friendly interactive approach that I use, I often receive great feedbacks from students I take. In fact, my interest in teaching comes from my continuous desire to learn and read, realizing that being a tutor means that I'm in a dynamic viable educational environment. This is something I would like to share with my student doctors, as I believe we should enjoy what we learn. For the clinical subjects, we will mainly use stepwise approach to the given condition, mnemonics, as well as clinical case scenarios to reinforce the concept.
