I am a Master of Finance Graduate from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Ontario. I am currently pursuing the CFA certification.
Experience
I have tutored students in both 1-on-1 environments and academic institutions for two years now. I am comfortable teaching a lot of different subjects, including most standard subjects in grades 1-12, Elementary Algebra, Finance, Competition Math, Business Enterprise, and Algebra 3/4. I also scored a 48 on the Quantitative Reasoning section of the Graduate Management Admission Test (or GMAT), so I understand how to help students prepare for high-stakes exams. I am familiar with a variety of STEM tests, including the AP Macroeconomics Examination, ACCUPLACER Arithmetic, the SAT Subject Test in Mathematics (Levels 1 and 2), the GMAT Analytical Writing Assessment, and CLEP College Mathematics. Furthermore, I am familiar with the International Baccalaureate curriculum and can help students in IB courses such as Further Mathematics HL.
