My academic career from elementary to University was in Taiwan. I earned my undergraduate degree in business administration at Tung-Hai University.
Experience
My native language is Mandarin, Chinese. In addition to Chinese, I am also fluent in Taiwanese, Korean, and English. I have taught Chinese online and in-person to students from Korea, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. I enjoy teaching Chinese as a foreign language because it gives me an opportunity to learn about other cultures and also share my knowledge. When you work with a private language tutor in a one-on-one setting, you have the opportunity to hear and speak the language with someone who is fluent in the language. This can make it easier to increase your own fluency in the language because you have someone who can correct mispronunciation and grammatical errors in real-time which can prevent you from forming bad habits that might be harder to break later.
