I earned my undergraduate degree in environmental science and biology with honors from McMaster University. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in geochemistry at the University of Western Ontario (UWO).
Experience
Hello, my name is Roshni and I am a private tutor located in Toronto, Canada. I have extensive instructional experience working with students of all ages. I served as a teaching assistant for the geology course at the University of Western Ontario for two years. I additionally served as a volunteer for Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS) Hamilton Chapter for two years. I currently tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in a wide variety of subject areas, including science, reading, math, writing, and social studies. One of the benefits of working with a tutor in a private one-on-one session is the opportunity it gives students to go at their own pace and to receive the kind of targeted academic support that is often difficult to achieve in a classroom setting.
