I have several different academic qualifications, including an M.Fin from the University of Toronto's Rotman Business School, a BSc in Chemistry and Mathematics from the Monash University in Australia, an Ed.M in Applied Statistics from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics from the University of Toronto.
Experience
I have tutored math and quantitative subjects for many years because I enjoy watching students realize their goals. I have more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry specializing in risk management, so I can relate seemingly abstract concepts to their real-world applications to promote student understanding. I am comfortable teaching multiple levels of mathematics, including K-12 math, Applied Mathematics, Calculus 1-3, and Algebra 3/4.
