Education

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher and a recent graduate of OISE at University of Toronto with a specialization in English. Previously, I completed an MA at the University of Western Ontario, where I took courses in Comparative Literature and was a Teaching Assistant for two year. Prior to that I completed a degree in Criticism from OCAD University.

Experience

I currently work as a tutor through a reputable Toronto tutoring company, but I am looking to work with more students. I have taught at both University and high school. My students enjoy working with me and find me helpful and clear. In addition to tutoring, I also provide editing services. Each new student receives a free initial consultation where we determine goals, tutoring structure and if we are a good fit. Afterwards, we work on the most pressing issues and assignments. I aim to assist the student in the immediate material at hand, but also the skills to independently undertake similar assignments in the future.
