I am currently a Commercial CAD Technologist in Land Development Group working for R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited. I work on a variety of projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Assisting with Infrastructure, grading and stormwater management design of land development projects; Preparation of design work including water distribution, sanitary collection, earthworks, site plans and grading for land development projects; Supporting senior engineers and project managers in the production of preliminary and detailed design drawings and preparation of related reports, coordination of approvals, development of construction cost estimates, and liaising with clients, sub-consultants and contractors; Working under the guidance of project managers and management staff across the company to develop design skills and ensure design quality standards are met; Collaborating with and contributing to multi-office design teams to ensure project delivery successfully meets the needs of clients; Also, providing CAD Support and implementing our Coporate Commercial CAD standards and procedures.
