I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature after studying for four years in the Linguistics Department at Beijing Foreign Studies University in China. I attained a high proficiency in the English language. I went on to earn my Master of Education from Brock University in Ontario, Canada, where I learned skills in language teaching.
Experience
I have been working as a tutor teaching Mandarin as a part-time job. I work full time as a professional interpreter from English to Mandarin and vice versa. I'm available to tutor students of all ages in the Mandarin Chinese language at all levels. My preferred communicative approach is to develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that accommodate all levels of learners. I also incorporate educational activities that engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
