I am a friendly, approachable tutor and I strive to offer my students a convenient, flexible tutoring schedule that meets their individual needs. I have recently completed a Graduate Diploma of Education at Southern Cross University and hold a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from the University of Guelph (scholarship recipient). I have firsthand experience with the current course content of the Queensland and New South Wales curriculums from my own studies and teaching practicums. I have a thorough understanding of course expectations and I tailor my tutoring sessions to suit individuals' unique learning styles and needs. I am passionate about teaching and lifelong learning and I strive to facilitate a learning environment that enables students to improve in subject areas as well as acquire organization, time management and basic study strategies that are essential for success in the classroom and future learning. I specialize in English, History, Geography, Legal Studies, essay writing and reading. I also provide assistance with homework, exam/test preparation, proofreading and revision of assessments. I am keen to help both domestic and international students and teach essential English language skills. I hold a valid Blue Card, have undergone a working with children safety check and have current First Aid and CPR certifications which enables me to provide a safer learning environment for students.
