Education

I have graduated with my Bachelor of Arts & Science (Honours B. Arts Sc) from McMaster University with a 3.9 GPA . The Arts & Science program offers an intensive and multidisciplinary education, admitting approximately 60 students per year, and has equipped me with the ability to pursue further education in the areas of psychology to statistics to sustainable design!

Experience

In both high school and university I have maintained consistently high marks. I am a compassionate, encouraging, and relentlessly hardworking student. In my last year of university, for example, I received an A+ grade in every one of my courses, save for one in which I received an A. I will be the first to admit, however, that not all of these courses came naturally, and I had to really work at them in order to achieve exemplary grades. A common theme in the courses that I performed well in was the quality of the professor. Unfortunately, not all professors or even teachers can cater to a student's individual learning style, so why depend upon them alone? That's what tutors are here for! Now, I have been tutored in the past, and I know what makes a great tutor and a not-so-great one. Every student is different, and I can't wait to get to know what works for my tutor-ee so that they can feel confident and happy with their own work.

Hobbies

In my opinion, the greatest tutors are those that relate to their clients. Here are a few things that interest me/are some hobbies, and perhaps they interest you too (which would be great for mid-session breaks): First up (and arguably the nerdiest), I love a good ol' session of Sims 4. Designing homes and families on a virtual level is super cool to me. Second, I read like a fiend. On my bookshelf currently are the likes of: Bluebeard's Egg by Margaret Atwood, Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, and One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia de Marquez. Third, I am really interested in the design of cities and homes. Our environments, from the design of our classrooms to the design of our highways, fascinate me.
