Private tutor in Toronto, Canada
Education
Bachelor of Science in Biology, Ryerson University (2016) minor in Psychology, Ryerson University Master of Teaching, OISE University of Toronto (2020)
Experience
I have tutored several high school students in both chemistry and biology for the past seven years. I have also volunteered as a teacher assistant at a Croatian heritage school for four years. I love to teach and see students reach their full potential. I know it can be difficult to understand certain concepts (especially scientific terms!). It is for those reasons, I try to come up with different teaching techniques that best suits your personality. I have taken several biology, chemistry and psychology classes. Some of my favourites include; microbiology, genetics, zoology, addictions, abnormal disorders and ecotoxicology. I am an easygoing, patient and optimistic person :) I am willing to tutor downtown near the OISE university campus or in Etobicoke.

Hobbies
I love being around people. I am very social and take joy in communicating with people all around me. In fact, presentations were one of my favorite things to do during school and I plan to be in a field that involves public speaking. I also love reading, watching movies and above all else, eating!!. I could cook or bake all day if I could. Being around friends and family is very important to me. I also love travelling. I try to do it as much as I can. It gives me an opportunity to learn about new cultures and see the beauty in everything.
