I have a natural ability to effectively explain complex concepts and foster an engaging environment for learning. My experience at a Toronto private high school, for example, included teaching students under Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and with other learning difficulties including hearing impairments. I have taught Advanced Functions (MHF4U) and Data Management (MDM4U) at a private high school in Toronto. More recently I have taught business courses (BOH4M and BBB4M) at another private high school. I also offer tutoring services at high school in advanced functions, calculus & vectors (MCV4U), functions (MCR3U), economics (CIA4U). I also prepare examination manuals and conduct exam seminars for economics courses at university level. I am well versed with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program and have taught mathematics and economics at higher-level IB. Background & Credentials I have a Bachelors degree in Economics and Actuarial Science and I am a qualified actuary credentialed with the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. Throughout professional life, I assumed leadership, managerial and training roles. After a successful consulting career, I pursued the passion to teach. My professional and academic background solidly positions me to teach in all areas of mathematics and economics, business and finance.
