I'm currently attending an Honours program at the University of Toronto, majoring in Neuroscience and obtaining minors in Psychology and Physiology. I obtained two high school diplomas in Mathematics and Sciences with an average of 98.
Experience
I have experience tutoring university-level chemistry and math, high school level chemistry, and math in two languages - Farsi and English. I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students. I have taken university-level math courses including Calculus I (MAT135), Calculus II (MAT136), Linear Algebra I (MAT223), and Physics I (PHY131) at the University of Toronto with an average mark of A. I have also taken university-level Organic Chemistry I and II (CHM138, CHM247), Inorganic Chemistry 139, and many more. I excelled in teaching Math and calculus in my previous experiences and that comes from my passion for this area. I am currently working in two Neuroscience research labs in addition to my university courses. Studying Neuroscience and Psychology has helped me learn more and more about the brain and gave me a different perspective towards human behaviors and thinking systems. Therefore, studying these majors has been a great guide in my tutoring skills and helped me develop very helpful methods to help students learn the hardest subjects in the easiest way.
