I earned my bachelor's degree in English Literature and Art History from Carleton University. I went on to earn my master's degree in English with a focus on Charles Dickens and Victorian Culture.
Experience
I have been tutoring in both one-on-one settings and small groups for just about seven years. I love the challenge of explaining difficult concepts in a way that is relevant and easy for my students to understand. I can tutor students of all ages, from first grade through college students, in a wide variety of subjects. I tutor students of all ages in basic reading and writing skills as well as basic math and science skills for students in elementary school. I also tutor students who are taking certain AP subjects like English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition, and Art History. In addition to particular subjects, I can help students with study skills and organization.
