I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy working with students and would like to see them succeed. I have previous experience working as a tutor/volunteer at the Toronto Public Library "Leading to Reading" Program. I also have plenty of experience editing essays and helping students improve on their writing skills. As a recent graduate from the University of Toronto, I also have a solid background in science (mainly biology and chemistry) which was developed throughout my academic career as well as by working as a laboratory Research Assistant at St. Michael's Hospital in downtown Toronto. Based on my prior experience and knowledge, I believe I am well-equipped to help you improve your knowledge and skills.
