Experience
As a highly motivated and experienced Tutor/lecturer with a strong background in providing professional tutoring services to students with diverse backgrounds, I have the ability to exceed your expectations. As a graduate student in a business school, I successfully passed a course on "how to teach", and participated in more than 30 hours of workshops on instructional skills. These trainings have provided me with useful tools and insights on how to encourage students to engage in class and how to clearly communicate complicated concepts and more importantly how to assist slow and struggling learners. I have been applying what I learned in a real environment as a seasonal lecturer and teaching assistant at Sauder school of business at UBC in Vancouver, BC, for the past two years where besides the numerous hours of one on one tutorship, I designed and presented undergraduate level courses with weekly office hours for more than 80 students. Previous to graduate school, I have done numerous hours TA and private tutorship for Math and Physics (High school and college level).
