Private tutor in Toronto, Canada

Education

I am currently a data scientist at a video game tech company. I currently have a Masters in Physical Chemistry, and a Bachelors in Chemistry and Physics with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Toronto. During my undergrad, most of my courses revolved around organic chemistry and quantum mechanics.

Experience

I have a passion for teaching and was consequently a tutor at an academy for 2 years and I have done private tutoring for over 10 years. I have a good knowledge and understanding of high school placement tests, having scored a 5 on AP chemistry, physics, biology, and calculus, having high placements in various science contests, and representing Canada in the international Chemistry Olympiad. I can teach the following university courses: CHM135, CHM136, CHM138, CHM139, CHM151, CHM238, CHM247, CHM249, CHM342, CHM348, CHM343, MAT133, MAT135, MAT136, MAT137

Hobbies

I am a hard worker and quite friendly. When I am not at work, I am usually found in a climbing gym or at the nearest outdoor climbing crag. Otherwise, I can be found inside enjoying a warm (not too hot!) hot chocolate skipping through Netflix shows, trying to find out what to watch. Boardgames are also cool but I prefer it when they're not too competitive (I like cooperative work-together games more).
