I am an English tutor with a passion for writing and I'm excited to share that passion with K-12 students of all ages! Recently, I have started to do some freelance work for top magazines so I can advise students on what goes into becoming a published writer. I can help students with reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis. If your student needs an extra set of eyes to review their college admissions essay, I can recommend improvements. If your student doesn't understand how authors leverage literary devices in their work, I can point out how they work in Shakespeare and other texts. I can also share active reading tips to help students remember more of the information they read.

I love volunteering and have been an active humanitarian since I was young. Travelling to third world countries to build homes, running “Halloween for Hunger” campaigns and organizing fundraisers to raise awareness and money for all girl schools in Kenya.
