Lydia K.
Private tutor in Toronto, Canada
Education
I have a BA in Honours Music with a Japanese Language Certificate II at University of Waterloo (2019), and a MMus in Music Technology and Digital Media at University of Toronto (2021). I am also a graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts, where I majored in music theatre.
Experience
Available both in person and online. In-person sessions can be held at students' homes or in a public setting such as a library. Any major in the area of math is very self-disciplined. Therefore it is easy to overlook the fundamental basics that help us solve bigger problems and innovate new ideas. I want to help others develop their own self-discipline in hopes to lead them to success in any field. I have prior experience as a tutor/mentor by assisting students in Mathematics and Reading Comprehension for over two years, and in music production and vocal performance mentorship. I have also been a math and music theory peer tutor throughout my high school career. Some classes I've taken include Linear Algebra 1 and 2, Calculus 1 and 2, Music Theory, Vocal Training, and Japanese Language (Up to N3).
