I have previous tutoring experience in Chemistry and Biochemistry with regularly returning students. I find tutoring students over several sessions increases the success of the students as I am able to tailor my teaching style to their needs. GPA: 3.9 I have taken a number of classes in the field of chemistry including organic, inorganic, and physical, and biological chemistry. I have also taken a number of classes in Biochemistry focusing on protein, genetic information, and biochemistry laboratory techniques. I am confident in tutoring any level of grade school science or math (Grade 1-12) and any level of first year University chemistry/biology as well as any 2nd or 3rd year level Organic or biochemistry course. Previous research experience in inorganic and organic chemistry fields at the University of Toronto I love being able to share my knowledge and learning skills with other and helping others succeed academically.

Hobbies
Outside of academics I enjoy playing all types of sports, including basketball and running. I also enjoy playing piano, having reached Grade 9 RCM. As well I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I try to emphasize understanding of the material with my teaching style rather than memorization. I see this as a common pitfall in organic chemistry with student simply trying to memorize all structures and mechanism rather than understanding how to complete any problem given, I can help with this understanding which will lead to less stressful studying and greater academic success.
