As an undergraduate, I attended the University of Waterloo, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a 3.9 GPA. I also have a Bachelor of Education in Health Education and Social Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. After that, I earned my Master of Public Health in Social Policy from the University of Victoria.
Experience
I am a certified OCT teacher. My teaching experience is extensive and includes working as an English teacher in South Korea, Laos, Canada, and Australia. I have worked with students of all kinds, including ESL, indigenous, adult, elementary, and special education students. I am fluent in Cantonese. I can help students in many academic areas, including biology, writing, reading, math, science, public speaking, and more. I am comfortable working with students of all ages from first grade through college. We can work together on assignments or prepare for exams. I can make concepts easier to follow in math by breaking them into smaller, more manageable steps.
