I earned my Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2015, graduating with honors and a minor in Mathematics. I followed that up by earning a Masters in Economics in 2016 and am currently pursuing Certified Financial Analyst credentials.
Experience
I have worked as a private tutor since 2012, focusing on English, speaking, and writing at the high school and undergraduate levels. I have also worked as a TA at local educational institutions such as Ryerson and Queen's. I have even taken formal courses on tutor effectiveness to help me provide a better experience to students. I specialize in language but can also help with other courses. For example, I am familiar with the AP English Language and Composition Examination and can assist students who are preparing for it. Likewise, I can teach ESL/ELL and help students prepare for the TOEFL. If your student has any questions regarding these exams, I have the answers. I can also help students express their ideas on creative writing assignments and college admissions essays.
