Laura H.

Private tutor in Toronto, Canada

Education

I am currently completing a bachelor's degree in Arts and Science from the University of Toronto and have a 3.6 overall GPA.

Experience

Hi, my name is Laura. I specialize in high school courses for functions, advanced functions, calculus and vectors, physics, and general math and science. I can teach general math and science to lower grades as well. I have worked as a freelance tutor for 3 years and also have experience working as a teaching assistant for English and math at Toronto Chung Hwa Night School. I work with students using their own school materials for the best results, and can provide extra material when required. I work very hard on identifying where the student is having trouble and work through those issues with them. I am a student myself, so I understand the difficulties! With enough work, you can get through any difficult subject. I really love teaching math and physics, as I find it enriching to understand these subjects on some level. I hope to share this with my prospective students!
