I started tutoring in grade 11, and have experiences tutoring grades 9 to 12, as well as university / college students. My primary profession is in the field of software development and analytics, and I love working with numbers! I value understanding above memorising, and try to enforce concepts not procedures. I try to ask a lot of questions to get the student to talk about the problems. The more I can get the student to do and explain the better they will retain the information. Tutoring can be focused on homework and projects or a matter of general self-improvement.
