Education
I graduate from the University of Western Ontario (UWO). I currently hold a BMSc degree specializing in Medical Science and having a minor in Mathematics. I graduated with. a 3.85/4 GPA and I intend on pursuing medicine in the future.
Experience
I have experience in tutoring on all levels of mathematics from Kindergarten to 2nd year mathematics. I was a teaching assistant at UWO for 1st year mathematics courses. This includes, Calculus, Finite Mathematics and Calculus for Life Science. Throughout my time as a TA, I worked with students and help them understand all the concepts of math being taught to them in class. I'm not the type of tutor to only show you how to get the answers, but to help you understand and make math make sense. I want to be a tutor because I love sharing my knowledge and teaching students understand hard subjects and have that "Aha!" moment. Also it gives me much satisfaction that I can help improve student learning with my creative teaching abilities. With my 3 years of being a TA at UWO, I helped students achieve grades of 85%+ in their courses.
