Education

I am currently taking my MSc in industrial/organizational psychology within Ontario. I have an advanced diploma in behavioural sciences and an undergraduate degree from York University in Psychology (honours). Within both my degree/diploma, I have received titles of cum laude and GPAs above 3.80 (4.00 scale). I have also taken and excelled in course work on: disabilities, business, organizational behaviour, philosphy, and statistics.

Experience

I have experience teaching and tutoring individuals with and without learning disabilities. I have experience tutoring fellow psychology and business students, especially in the areas of organizational behaviour, behavioural and cognitive therapy, as well as psychology statistics. Within the learning disabilities sector, I have over 3 years of experience teaching/creating programs aimed at improving studying/work habits. I want to be a tutor because I strongly believe that education is the foundation of successful and happy lives. I am extremely interpersonal and have an intrinsic motivation to help students learn! In terms of test scores, I have scored 99th percentile within the GRE analytical writing- an area that I have developed specific strategies for and would be happy to teach my students.

My hobbies/interests span a variety of areas! I love to watch movies, listen to music, and play video games. I also love to find new restaurants within the GTA to try with friends and family. I am also an active 'explorer' of trails and parks within Ontario (we have some of the most beautiful parks within the country!) When I am not doing any of the above, I am typically visiting local coffee shops with friends and family.
